The Gathering

The Gathering is an annual youth event held on the campus of Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.  It is for Junior High and High School Students from all over the Northwest Field that includes the Alaska, Colorado, Intermountain, Northwest, Oregon Pacific, Rocky Mountain, and Washington Pacific Districts.  The Gathering is a conference that allows students to come together for a time of friendship, worship, teaching, service, and fun.

About The Gathering

  • A 3-day youth conference for Junior High and High School Students
  • Group activities, games, events
  • Student access to an array of relevant workshops designed for group discipleship and creative learning
  • Categories of workshops include: academic, the arts, sports, and topical subjects that are applicable to student’s lives
  • Featured Speakers, Dustin and Olivia Metcalf, Co-chaplins from NNU, will inspire, challenge, and unite students
  • Amazing worship services led by a dedicated team
  • Northwest Field Finals for Bible Quizzing Students
  • Opportunity to learn about and be equipped to have an impact on others through a service project
  • Full use of NNU’s campus for housing (623 S University Blvd, Nampa, ID) included in registration fee
  • All meals on Saturday and Sunday are included in registration fee

Our Speakers: Dustin and Olivia Metcalf

Pastors, teachers, coffee lovers, and travel addicts, Dustin and Olivia Metcalf like lots of different things. From exploring new places with their sons Andrew and Ethan, to reading books about a wide variety of topics, to playing board games like Catan and Scythe, they love adventure. Most importantly they love Jesus and long to help others do the same. Believing that faith is meant to be lived they are always looking for ways to be faithful disciples and to invite others to journey with them as they follow Jesus. ​
